Tech Center

M.R. Mold & Engineering has been steadfast in the advancement of its technology over the past 25 years; with substantial investments in machinery, software and training.

The Technology Center includes three company-owned molding machines, a 100-ton Engel, a 55-ton Engel and 110-ton Negri Bossi, all equipped with liquid silicone pumping units from Fluid Automation and 2KM. M.R. Mold regularly uses our own innovative Stuffer Boxes on these machines for sampling and short production runs. Within the 4,000 square foot Tech Center, M.R. Mold also owns a 12x12 compression molding machine used for quick turn-around prototyping and a Blue M oven for post curing sample parts. These molding machines are utilized for mold trials, sampling, 1st article inspection and mold qualification prior to sending the molds to our customers. Products sampled include liquid silicone, plastics and rubber. This not only assures accuracy, it significantly reduces the time it takes for revisions and fine tuning processes. The Tech Center has facilities to provide turn-key solutions for their customers as well. These capabilities lend invaluable insights to our customers and their projects by offering them a large spectrum of inspection services and quality control measures.
