CNC MACHINIST

A CNC machinist position with an injection mold background is available at M.R. Mold & Engineering.

Required Skills/Qualifications:  10 years minimum experience. Fluent in Mastercam. Pocesses the ability to program and do your own setups. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.


Moldmaker

We are looking for a person driven by a desire to contribute, be challenged and grow.

Required Skills / Qualifications: minimum of 10 years experience building and repairing liquid silicone and plastic molds.  CNC experience is preferred, but not necessary.

We are currently searching for a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background of grinding equipment and procedures, and cutting edge techniques in the use and application of all composition of steels and related materials for the building of molds.  We seek a leader with high attention to detail, who will work unsupervised. This individual must have the capability and knowledge to lead a job from start to finish, working with engineers and tool designers to develop and build molds from drawings or layouts by using the most suitable machining resources and maintaining specified tight tolerances to warrant the proper qualification of molded product expectations.  This position is in complete charge of the assigned projects as they move through the various departments, making sure all components are ordered, arranging any/all outside service and completing the project on time.  With the completion of each project, this individual will perform QC checks to ensure all critical dimensions of the mold are met to part print specification.  In addition, this individual will diagnoses and correct problems in tools, having the expertise and knowledge of why a part is flashing or why the shut offs aren’t hitting hard enough, etc.  Responsibility includes supervising lesser skilled toolmakers when assigned to assist him.
